Learn from a professional and discover fundamental techniques of figurative sculpture. In two days, you'll sharpen your eye for detail and create your own clay sculpture. Completely relaxed, at your own pace.
The modeling course in the studio of artist Margit Denz offers you space for creativity, relaxation and experiencing flow – focused work without distractions, completely with yourself.
Course schedule
Friday: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Welcome, introduction and first modeling steps.
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM: Intensive work on your sculpture with individual support including a shared lunch break (freshly cooked food included).
Who is the modeling course intended for?
Everyone is welcome! No prior knowledge is required . Whether you're a beginner or already have some experience – this course is for anyone who wants to try new things with openness and joy and create something with their hands. The relaxed and appreciative atmosphere in the studio offers you plenty of space for creative expression.
And if you're planning something special: We also organize team events or creative celebrations.

“Der Modellierkurs mit Margit war ein großer Spaß. In ihrem wundervollen Atelier – einem Ort voller Inspiration – konnte ich mich ganz auf die Arbeit mit dem Ton einlassen. Von der anfänglichen Unsicherheit im Umgang mit dem Material hin zur konzentrierten Detailarbeit an anatomischen Proportionen war es dank Margits erfahrener und ermutigender Anleitung ein erstaunlich kurzer Weg. Gerade weil meine berufliche Tätigkeit im Büro selten zu so konkreten und greifbaren Ergebnissen führt, habe ich im Kurs eine völlig neue Form der Konzentration erlebt. Dass ich keinerlei Vorkenntnisse mit Ton mitbrachte, erwies sich dabei sogar als Vorteil, da das Erfolgserlebnis am Ende war umso größer war.”

Courses will take place with a minimum group size of 4 and a maximum of 10. If registrations fall below this number, the course will be canceled, participants will be notified by email, and their money will be refunded.

A processing fee of €50 is payable up to 48 hours before the course.
